Natal Direct Line
The Bullard King [Natal Direct Line] vessel SS Umgemi arrived in Fremantle on the 4th April 1945 with three cases of smallpox onboard. The three crewmen who were landed at the Woodman Point Quarantine Station for isolation and treatment during their compulsory detention.
