HISTORY
THIS WEBPAGE IS DEDICATED TO ALL THE NURSES WHO SERVED AT THE WOODMAN POINT QUARANTINE STATION, INCLUDING THE FOUR WHO PAID THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE, WHEN THEY VOLUNTEERED FOR DUTY AT THE QUARANTINE STATION, TO NURSE THE RETURNING SOLDIERS AT THE END OF WWI, WHO WERE SUFFERING FROM THE SPANISH FLU.
 
THIS CRISIS WOULD LATER BE KNOWN AS THE BOONAH TRAGEDY.
