On Saturday 8th July 2012, the wedding of David Mulcahy and Phillipa Gibson was held at Woodman Point Recreation Camp. The reception was held in the Heritage listed Isolation Hospital and attended by 100 guests. The wedding is also historic, being that it is the first ever recorded at the former Woodman Point Quarantine Station.
